Off to the races....
Wednesday was a little extra nutty this year, so I'm running a little behind. But, when you're about to spend 24 hours cooking a turkey, no one will notice if you only manage 22 or 23.
These are some random cheap turkey parts from the butcher. I'll add the fresh bird's frame and spare parts to the pile when I finish carving. Again, it will be totally fine. I won't even be able to add the veg to these pans for a couple hours.
This year, the primary test is how much I can simplify this process without losing any quality. For example, this is less "extra parts" than ever before, but I'm pretty confident the only difference at the end will be the extra $20 still in my pocket.
