This is the Slow Motion Cooking Show. Over the last few years, I've been experimenting with sciencing up the Thanksgiving meal. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday by a lot, and cooking for people is a real pleasure—at least when it's not the weeknight rush. I have been documenting the experiments on a very large social networking site, but I don't go there in presidential election years (for my health), so here we are. The name comes from a comment by my friend Rich on one of those photos.

I suspect there will be a loooooong gap in content after this coming weekend before I post again, and if all the years are in one spot, it may end up feeling repetitive. I'm going to do it anyway. Even if no one comes by to watch, 90-95% of this is just because I enjoy the process. I hope you will enjoy it too.
